“In being a therapist, I strive to listen to each person’s story and to assist them in recognizing and developing their strengths and abilities, which they can use to achieve their goals.”
I enjoy meeting and getting to know all types of people. I feel privileged when they share their personal stories and invite me to be a part of their journey as they begin working towards creating the type of life they envision for themselves. I believe each individual has their own unique strengths and is worthy of being treated with compassion, dignity and respect.
I have been a licensed mental health counselor since 2002. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families and groups. I have provided services for individuals who were experiencing depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and other trauma related issues, grief and loss, life transition issues, relationship and family related issues.
I particularly enjoy working with couples and families as then I’m able to both witness and work with patients within the couple or family system in which the patient lives and interacts with which allows me to be a more effective helper.
Why The Everett Clinic?
I am grateful for the opportunity to work at The Everett Clinic, where doing what is right for each patient is the primary goal of our vision statement. I am excited to work in a medical clinic setting which has a Behavioral Health department and offers integrative medical and behavioral healthcare services to their patients. I believe having an integrative health care system approach provides more comprehensive treatment, since it addresses the needs of the whole person.
